Built by Youth. Backed by Adults.
A thriving Scout troop never stands still. It evolves, improves, and adapts to serve every generation. At the core of our success is a powerful model: our troop is 100% Scout-led.
If you are coming from Cub Scouts, this is the big shift. In Cub Scouts, adults organize and run the pack. In Scouts BSA, the youth take the wheel. Our Scouts plan the meetings, choose the camping trips, and run troop operations. Adult leaders are there to mentor, support safety, and provide guidance from the sidelines, not to run the show.
This environment gives young people a safe place to practice real-world decision-making, solve complex problems, and learn true accountability.
Explore Leadership Roles in Our Troop
Youth Leaders (Patrol Leaders' Council): The driving force of our troop. Scouts elect their own leaders to manage patrols, lead meetings, and design annual outdoor adventures.
Adult Mentors (Scoutmaster & Assistants): Experienced guides dedicated to coaching youth leaders, facilitating rank advancement, and ensuring outdoor safety.
Troop Committee: The behind-the-scenes support system of parents and volunteers who handle troop administrative tasks, logistics, equipment, and finances.
