For over a century, Scouting built tomorrow's leaders through grit, outdoor skill, and shared challenge. Today, that iconic path is open to young women.

Scouts BSA offers young men and women (5th grade through high school) the ultimate testing ground. From high-adventure expeditions to hands-on leadership training, Scouts earn their path toward the prestigious Eagle Scout rank while building real-world resilience.

What to Expect:

Real Adventure: Camping, Hiking, Rafting, Backpacking, Wilderness survival and so much more!
Life Skills: First aid, environmental science, Emergency Prep, financial literacy and the list goes on....

The troop started on February 1, 2019. We are chartered by First Colony Community Service Association.We are linked to, and fully supported by our boys Troop 441.

BSA Troop 442 for Girls is open to all girls ages 11 to 17 or those that have completed fifth grade.

Earning the rank of Eagle Scout is a remarkable accomplishment, built through years of growth, leadership, service, and perseverance. At Troop 442, our Eagle Scouts are an important part of our troop family and its history. We are so proud of each Scouts who has reached this milestone and grateful for the lasting impact she has made on our troop and community. Their accomplishments remind us of where we have come from and inspire the Scouts who follow to set ambitious goals, lead by example, serve others, and carry the Troop 442 tradition forward by leaving the troop stronger than they found it!
